PRProviding a comprehensive range of services, from employment and retention support to daily life support for foreign workers
TRYT Inc. (Tokyo Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Osaka Head Office: Osaka City, Osaka; President and Representative Director, CEO: Hidetaka Sasai; hereinafter “TRYT”), a leading placement company and digital solutions provider for the medical and welfare industries, and Global Trust Networks Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroyuki Goto; hereinafter “GTN”), a provider of support services for foreign nationals living in Japan, have entered into a business partnership for the placement of specified skilled foreign workers in the nursing care field.
The number of foreign workers in Japan has exceeded 2.04 million, hitting a record high,*1 against the backdrop of domestic labor shortages. Amid growing concerns about future labor shortages, promotion of the employment of foreign workers is expected to be an important measure to cope with this situation. In the nursing care industry, the specified skilled worker system, which was created with the aim of resolving labor shortages, came into effect in 2019, and the number of foreigners working in nursing care facilities has been increasing year by year. Meanwhile, when employing foreign workers, it is essential to provide support so that they can continue working in Japan with peace of mind, as various issues can arise due to language barriers and cultural differences. According to the Care Work Foundation, more than 80% of nursing care facilities have not yet accepted foreign workers.*2
Under these circumstances, TRYT, a provider of placement and temporary staffing services in the medical and welfare fields, and GTN, a provider of comprehensive lifestyle support service for foreign nationals willing to work in Japan, have agreed to collaborate in the placement of specified skilled foreign workers in the nursing care field. Under the partnership, a full range of services will be offered to both employers and job seekers to facilitate successful placements, including employment consultation, matching, acceptance, retention, and daily life support.
Specifically, by leveraging its broad network with nursing care facilities, TRYT Career Inc., a subsidiary of TRYT, will provide consulting services for nursing care facilities in the target areas,*3 to identify their needs and requirements in the hiring of foreigners and to propose solutions, thereby strengthening support for securing human resources. GTN will recruit candidates from across the Asia region for nursing care facilities wishing to hire specified skilled foreign workers, and provide interview support in cooperation with TRYT Career Inc. After hiring decisions are made, GTN will provide various support services for accepting facilities, including assisting in creating foreign worker support plans, which are required to be prepared by law. GTN will also provide various follow-up services to foreign workers.
Toward the sustainable development of the nursing care industry, TRYT and GTN will strive to contribute to resolving issues related to labor shortages by supporting the placement and retention of foreign human resources with specified skills in the nursing care field.
