Notice Regarding the Acquisition by TRYT of Shares of Medicle Inc., Provider of Shift Management Apps for Nurses and Care Workers

TRYT Inc. (Tokyo Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Osaka Head Office: Osaka City; CEO: Hidetaka Sasai), a leading placement company and digital solutions provider for the medical and welfare industries, has signed an agreement today to acquire all shares of Medicle Inc. (Head Office: Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture; CEO: Kazutoshi Yoshizawa), a company that develops and operates shift management apps for nurses and care workers. The acquisition of the shares is scheduled to be carried out on March 3, 2025.

Medical and welfare workers who have variable work schedules, such as day and night shifts, are said to feel burdened by managing their schedules. Medicle’s shift management apps, “Shiftna” for nurses and “Shiftkaigo” for care workers, simplify the input of schedules and the sharing of plans with friends and family members, ensuring smoother schedule management. Both “Shiftna” and “Shiftkaigo” have a simple design that prioritizes ease of use. Since their launch in 2014, they have been downloaded more than 900,000 times^*1 in total on the App Store and Google Play, receiving high praise. By introducing “Shiftna” and “Shiftkaigo” to the approximately 2.45 million^*2 medical and welfare workers registered in the TRYT Group’s registration database, we believe that we can help more medical and welfare workers reduce the hassle of schedule management, which will lead to a better balance between their work and private lives.
