First collaboration with Cork Inc. led by Yohei SADOSHIMA! Start of distribution of an original “nursing care manga” depicting the realities of nursing care workers

TRYT Inc. (Tokyo Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Hidetaka SASAI), a leading placement company and digital solutions provider for the medical and welfare industries, has announced that it will produce and distribute an original “nursing care manga” that depicts the realities of nursing care workers based on their actual experiences, in collaboration with Cork Inc. (Head Office; Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yohei SADOSHIMA), a creator agent company.

This is an original manga written by Aya MIZUSHIMA and Pumira, manga artists with knowledge of nursing and nursing care, and will be distributed from January to April 2024 through official social media accounts of “Kaigo Worker,” a job search support site dedicated to nursing care workers, and other channels. The manga series depicts the realities and emotional experiences of nursing care workers, and should be enjoyed not only by nursing care workers but also by those with no experience in the nursing care field.

The TRYT Group will strive to attract new human resources and expand employment opportunities in the nursing care industry by disseminating content that conveys the appeal of nursing care work, aimed at helping resolve the labor shortage in the industry.

After attending the “Cork Lab Manga Special Course” sponsored by creator agent Cork, Ms. Mizushima started posting manga on social media in 2020. Her realistic and warm-eyed depictions have attracted much attention. She is in charge of all promotional illustrations (bookmarks, postcards, etc.) for a book titled “Mou Akanwa Nikki (Diary)” (authored by Nami KISHIDA, and published by Writes Publishing, Inc.), as well as headers for all of Ms. Kishida’s note posts. Her latest work: Tokusen Mou Akanwa Nikki (authored by Nami KISHIDA, published by Cork)

Pumira is a nurse who enjoys working as a visiting nurse. She specializes in writing manga about visiting and ward nurses. She also has experience working in a critical care ward. Her fictional manga based on her nursing experiences are very popular.
